How Does Your Hot Tub Cover Look?
Did you know hot tub covers are your first line of defense in energy efficiency? It’s true! Heat rises, we all know that. So as hot tub covers age, they start to lose their insulating properties. They also start to take on water like a giant sponge and can eventually become dangerously heavy. This means not only could it be difficult to open your hot tub cover, it could even cause damage to your cover lifter if you are using one. We have even seen the lifter pulled right out a cabinet from a heavy cover! In addition to that, older hot tub covers can show vinyl deterioration which can be unsightly. So yourself and your hot tub a favor and replace that eyesore.
Now That You Know You Need A Replacement, This Is How You Order New Covers
Regardless of the brand of hot tub you have have, we can order covers for any brand or model. We do need to get some important information from you however. There are a couple important measurements we are going to need to get from you first. You can get these by measuring the hot tub itself or even better, your existing cover::
-Length
-Width which is also how long your existing covers fold is
-The length of the skirt which is the part that hangs down from the main body of your cover and covers your hot tubs acrylic. You generally want this to be 1/2-1″ longer than your acrylic.
-The radius of your corners
Not sure how to measure your covers radius?
Its easier than you think! If you happen to have a carpenters square this is easiest otherwise two straight edges can be used. First, make a perfect square out of each side of your hot tub. Then, what you are looking for is the distance from where your hot tub acrylic starts to curve to where it meets the other straight edge. This distance, measured in inches, is your radius.
In some cases, a hot tub cover can be ordered simply by the year make and model (i.e. 2014 Jacuzzi J-365). In other cases we need these measurements. If you dont feel comfortable doing this on your own you have two choices. You can either bring your cover to one of our showrooms or you can contact us as we can have someone come out and do the measuring for you (a small fee does apply).

The most important thing to most people is the color of their new cover. We not only have several colors to choose from but we also offer the choice of Vinyl or Sunbrella (there is an upcharge for Sunbrella).
