This is the best water conditioner to use for those with sensitive skin, allergies, or skin conditions normall bothered by a hot tub.
Water care is one area that gets easily overlooked when it comes to owning a hot tub. Some things are myth like you cant use chlorine in a hot tub, chlorine is bad, you can only use bromine in a hot tub, some people are even convinced they don’t need to use a sanitizer at all.
Then there are of course the facts. For instance, we have found using the correct form of chlorine tends to give people the best experience. I know what you are thinking. You remember that stinky, smelly hot tub at the hotel right? Well, two things. First, they aren’t doing it right and second they are using a totally different type of chlorine. We also hear people say they have been promised they don’t need to use a sanitizer like chlorine or bromine. That’s also incorrect. Using shock alone, even with Aqua Finesse or TRIO, still requires a sanitizer. Otherwise, how are you going to completely kill the germs? Nobody wants a rash. Water care is very important.
Now, lets say you truly can not under any circumstances use chlorine. Thats where Reserve is a great way to go. Its not corrosive like salt (this is another story all together) and it contains no chlorine.
There ARE ways to minimize your sanitizer use and maximize it’s effectiveness. ProClear Plus, Aqua Finesse, and TRIO are all excellent water conditioners that will drastically improve your water care experience. They help keep pH fluctuations in line and make your water feel softer. Plus you get to use less sanitizer! Minerals like Nature 2, Spa Frog, and ProClear Minerals all interact with your spa shock to help keep germs in check. None of these can do it on their own but they can all make water care easier.
